Borderlands 3 Announces Next Gen Support And More At PAX Online

During PAX Online, Gearbox has unveiled future plans for Borderlands 3, including next gen support. Borderlands 3 is coming to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. If you own the current-gen version of the game on Xbox One, you get a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X version.

If you own Borderlands 3 on PS4, you’ll get a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version. All your content, including save files, will carry over. The next gen version runs at 60 FPS and 4k resolution, and includes options for four-player split screen. Only have two players? You can choose between horizontal or vertical split screen!

New content coming to Borderlands 3 was also announced. Each Vault Hunter is getting a brand new skill tree to explore. For more info on the new skills, including a full look at FL4K’s new skill tree, check out the official blog here.
